Marina Kifferstein
NYC native Marina Kifferstein enjoys an active career as a violinist, composer, and educator. She has performed extensively across North America and internationally in the world's finest concert halls, including Carnegie Hall (NYC), Walt Disney Concert Hall (Los Angeles), the Kölner Philharmonie (Cologne, Germany), La Salle Pleyel (Paris, France), the Kultur- und Kongresszentrum Luzern (Lucerne, Switzerland), Harpa Concert Hall (Reykjavik, Iceland), the Beijing Concert Hall (China), the Esplanade (Singapore), and many others.
Marina holds an M.M. in violin contemporary performance from the Manhattan School of Music, a B.M. in violin performance from Oberlin Conservatory, and a B.A. in English from Oberlin College. She is currently a D.M.A. candidate at the CUNY Graduate Center. She has over a decade of teaching experience with students of all ages and levels.
