Ljubinka Kampanellaris

Ms. Kampanellaris is a musician and a teacher with international experience. Already as a child, she won over hundred awards in competitions performing classical and contemporary music. She earned a Master of Arts in Music Performance degree from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland in Lugano. Furthermore, she performed as a soloist and with contemporary music ensembles across Europe, Canada and the United States. In 2019, she collaborated with the Grammy award winning violist Kim Kashkashian, New England Conservatory from Boston, New World Symphony from Miami, and the legendary conductor Michael Tilson Thomas. She taught in several different countries and her students won numerous awards and recognitions. He brother Danilo Kulisic is a concert pianist and her sister Bosiljka Kulisic-Cavic is a concert accordionst.

Ms. Kampanellaris is a member of the ''Music for Food" initiative, whose members raised funds to create more than 1.5 million meals for the people in the United States who struggle with food insecurity.

She participated in numerous festivals such as Act Performance Festival in Dampfzentrale in Bern, Switzerland, where she performed pieces for accordion composed by Arne Nordheim, and Contemporary Music Festival “900 e presente’’ in Radio of Italian Switzerland (RSI), where she performed pieces of John Cage.

In 2014, Ms. Kampanellaris earned a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Music Pedagogy from Halvetic Music Institute- Private Institute for Continuing Education in Music Pedagogy and Music Therapy in Bellinzona- Switzerland. In 2015, she started the Doctor in Musical Arts program at the University of Toronto, where she worked as a teaching assistant for the Contemporary Music Ensemble (CME) . She led the ensemble of graduate students and introduced them to new music literature, new compositional techniques and the ways of interpreting contemporary Western Art music.

In 2017 during her U.S. concert tour, Ms. Kampanellaris performed in ''Google'' in San Francisco. In 2018 she received the ''Super Woman'' recognition in her home country, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Ms. Kampanellaris speaks English, German, Italian and Serbian/Croatian.
